Policies

CANCELLATIONS

Sunny Spa is primarily a "by appointment" business. We strive to do our best to service everyone equally and fairly. Last minute cancellations can have a great impact on our business and technicians. Because of this, we have a strict cancellation policy out of respect for our staff and, most importantly, our guests.

All clients may cancel their appointments without charge by following the Spa's Cancellation Policy. Cancellations or changes to the set appointment within 24 hours of the appointment time will incur a charge of 50% of the total scheduled service. Late arrivals may result in a shortening of the total service time or rescheduling of the appointment (charges may apply). To cancel or change your appointment, please contact the spa directly.

Spa Party: Bookings for a party of four or more people will be counted as a Spa Party and will follow the Spa's Party Cancellation Policy. A deposit of 50% of the total service for all appointments is required during the time of booking for four or more guests. The deposit amount will be charged at the time of check out. Refunds on the deposit require 48 hours notice for cancellation.

REFUNDS

All services, gift cards, retail products, packages, and memberships are non-refundable.

SUNNY SPA PRIVACY POLICY

The Sunny Spa, (“we”, “us” and “our”) takes the issue of safeguarding your privacy seriously and is committed to protecting the information you share with us. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the personal information we collect from you or about you on our website or mobile application, through written or verbal communications with us, when you visit our property, or from other sources, and the way in which Sunny Spa uses this information to better serve your needs.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect personal information at every guest interaction or touch point. In conducting our business, we may collect the following personal information:

  • name

  • mailing address

  • billing address

  • email address

  • phone number

  • information related to your visit

  • country of residence

  • payment information, such as your payment card number and other card information, as well as authentication information and other billing and account details associated with mobile billing

  • participation in a membership or loyalty program

  • marketing and communication preferences

ON-PROPERTY COLLECTION

We collect additional personal information during the registration/check-in process, including such information as may be required by law. We also use closed circuit television and other security measures at our property that may capture or record images of guests and visitors in public areas, as well as information related to your location while on our property. We may also use closed-circuit television and other technologies that record sound or video for the protection of our staff, guests and visitors at our property where permitted by law.

SOCIAL MEDIA

If you choose to participate in any of our sponsored social media activities or offerings, we may collect certain information from your social media account consistent with your settings within the social media service, such as location, status updates, photos, activities, interests, check-ins, and friends list. We may also allow you to enter into contests to provide photos, such as of your stay with us, which you may share with your connections on social media for votes, shared offers or other promotions.

In addition to the information we collect from you directly, we may also infer information about you based on the information you provide to us or from Other Information we collect.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED ABOUT YOU

We use your personal information with your consent to manage our contractual relationship with you and/or because we have a legitimate interest to do so. Such use includes the following:

  • To provide the services you request. Such services may include:

  • To facilitate reservations, payment, send administrative information, confirmations or pre-arrival messages, to assist you with your time with us.

OTHER INFORMATION

When you visit and interact with our website and mobile application, we collect other information that does not directly identify you about your use of the site, such as a catalog of the site pages you visit, and the number of visits to our sites (“Other Information”). We use Other Information, as well as data received from third parties, to deliver you email, online and mobile advertisements.

We collect Other Information in a variety of ways:

YOUR BROWSER OR DEVICE.

 We collect certain data through your browser or automatically through your device, such as your Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type, screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, and internet browser type. We use this data to ensure that our website and mobile application is functioning properly.  

YOUR USE OF OUR MOBILE APPLICATION.

We collect certain data when you download and use our mobile application, such as usage data, the date and time the application on your device accesses our servers and what data and files have been downloaded to the application based on your device number.

COOKIES.

We collect certain data from cookies, which are pieces of data stored directly on the computer or mobile device that you are using. Cookies allow us to collect data such as browser type, time spent on our website or mobile application, pages visited, referring URL, language preferences, and other aggregated traffic data.  We use the data for security purposes, to facilitate navigation, to display data more effectively, to collect statistical data and to personalize your experience while using our website and mobile application. We also gather statistical data about use of our website and mobile application to continually improve design and functionality, understand how they are used and assist us with resolving questions.

Cookies further allow us to select which advertisements or offers are most likely to appeal to you and display them while you are using our website or mobile application or to send marketing emails. We also use cookies to track responses to online advertisements and marketing emails.

PIXEL TAGS AND OTHER SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES.

We collect data from pixel tags (also known as web beacons and clear GIFs), which are used to, among other things, track the actions of users of our website and mobile application (including email recipients), measure the success of our marketing campaigns and compile statistics about usage of our website and mobile application.

ANALYTICS.

We collect data through Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics, which use cookies and technologies to collect and analyze data about use of the Services. These services collect data regarding the use of other websites, applications and online resources. YOUR IP ADDRESS.

We collect your IP address, a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).  An IP address is identified and logged automatically in our server log files when a user accesses our website or mobile application, along with the time of the visit and the pages that were visited. We use IP addresses to calculate usage levels, diagnose server problems and administer our online services. We also may derive your approximate location from your IP address.

AGGREGATED DATA.

We may use information we have collected and aggregated, or anonymized personal information received from third parties, to understand more about our users. This includes demographic data, such as date of birth, gender and marital status, inferred commercial interests, such as favorite products or hobbies, and other information we may collect from you or from third parties. Because Other Information does not personally identify you, such information may be disclosed for any purpose where permitted by law.  In some instances, we may combine Other Information with personal information. If we do combine any Other Information with personal information, the combined information will be treated by us as personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

SENSITIVE DATA

The term “sensitive information” refers to information related to your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health, sex life, sexual orientation, genetic information, criminal background, and any biometric data used for the purpose of unique identification. In some jurisdictions, mobile phone numbers, location data, and information contained on identity documents also are considered sensitive information. We do not generally collect sensitive information unless it is volunteered by you or unless we are required to do so pursuant to applicable laws or regulations. We may use health data provided by you to serve you better and meet your particular needs (for example, the provision of disability access).

PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN

We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. As a parent or legal guardian, please do not to allow your children to submit personal information without your permission.
